[[/Hard disk]] uses several magnetic devices. Magnetically [[/semi-hard]] coating is magnetised and demagnetised to store the information. Reading and writing is performed by a [[/magnetic head]], which can generate strong [[/magnetic field]] to erase, and magnetic sensor to read the bits of information. The main plates are rotated by an [[/electric motor]]. The read/write head is moved by an [[/electromagnetic actuator]].
