Proximity effect in round wires (1 mm diameter) with the same amplitude (1 A peak) of sinusoidal current, at 50 kHz.
The colours show current density distribution, with a linear scale: red = 2.5 A, green = 1.25 A, pale blue = 0 A (outside of wires).
The results were generated with the software Finite Element Method Magnetics created by Dr David Meeker. |
