Exposed end of a [[/Rogowski coil]]. The [[/enamel wire]] is wound uniformly over the whole length of the [[/coil]]. Only at the end there is a visible overwound of several turns to compensate for the discontinuity of the coil. The return wire goes through the centre of the inner silicon rod.
