Schematic illustration of a vector cross product, proportional to the product of the lengths of both vectors and the sine of angle between them. The value is maximum if the vectors are perpendicular, and zero if the vectors are parallel. The output value is a vector perpendicular to both input vectors, with the sign dictated by the order of input values and the chirality of the system of coordinates.
