$$ k = \sqrt{1 - \frac{L_{leak}}{L_{total}} } $$ (unitless)

Leakage inductance Lleak = (with all other windings short-circuited; must be smaller than the total inductance)

Total inductance Ltotal =       (with all other windings open-circuited)

      Coupling coefficient k = (unitless)
