Dr Stan Zurek

DSc, PhD, CEng, SMIEEE, FIET, mgr inż.

I graduated as mgr inż. (MSc) at Czestochowa University of Technology, Poland in 2000, and with a PhD degree at Wolfson Centre for Magnetics, Cardiff University, UK in 2005, where I continued to work as a Research Associate.

In 2008 I joined Megger Instruments Ltd as Magnetics Technical Specialist, and I currently hold the position of Head of Research & Innovation in the R&D department, being responsible for all aspects of electromagnetic technologies, innovation and research projects, and patenting new inventions.

I have been IEEE Senior Member from 2010. I authored and co-authored over 100 scientific papers and I am a named co-inventor on 14 patents. I published a book on measurements of rotational power loss: Characterisation of Soft Magnetic Materials Under Rotational Magnetisation.

In 2020 I graduated with a D.Sc. degree at Łódź University of Technology, Poland.
