Distribution of magnetic field strength H along the axis of a Helmholtz coil, as well as each half of the coil. The values are normalised with respect to the value at the centre of the Helmholtz coil. The distance x is zero for the centre of the coil, and the values are also normalised such that the diameter d = 1, and radius r = 0.5.
