VSim or VSimEM - a software for simulation of computationally intensive plasma, electromagnetic (hence EM) and electrostatic phenomena.¹⁾ VSim is based on computation engine Vorpal developed also by Tech-X Corporation. ²⁾

The software is capable of performing calculations for such problems like:

• plasma discharges
• ion thrusters
• satellite charging
• RADAR antenna
• vacuum electronics
• photonic devices
• particle accelerator components.

The package also allows introducing completely customised “physics” using the programming language Python.

VSim supports massively parallel computing and scales to thousands of processor cores. This should allow solving problems which were previously unsolvable due to computation time. The package works on Linux, Windows, or Mac OS X platforms.³⁾
